Training

The Yolo County Public Defender's Office conducts training seminars which are generally open and without cost to members of the local criminal defense bar.  Because we often discuss case-specific facts in our seminars, members of the judiciary and prosecutors are generally not invited to attend.   Speakers from the criminal defense legal community offer insight in various areas of criminal defense practice.  The Yolo County Public Defender's Office is certified as an MCLE provider by the State Bar of California, and continuing legal education credit is generally made available to those who attend our seminars.
